Encounter of the Nightmare-X

Into the ice..I have roamed into the ice sector for a long while.
Trapped in the ice..I have seen this station from the inside and out. Horrors they carry.
The explosion rocks the far south, I fall to the ground with force.
Machines are exploding like bombs, I look up in utter shock.
Its melting..The ice is turning to water. I begin to stand, but something frightens me.
Parasites..X is moving towards me. They want to use me as a host..For my memories.
I will not except death! I run as fast as I could from the gell. After my fleeing action, the true monster emerges.
A phantom..It phases through the machinery like a spector.
It comes..Armed to the teeth with every high leveled tech known. It wore a mask of iron.
It hovers to me..Fear caves down into me. I ran for life, not for death.
I read what it was from the hacked files..It was dubbed 'The Nightmare'.
Falling..I fall into the shadows from the darken chase. Death was waiting for me..But my savior comes.
Why? Why did it save me? Its hostility means no bounds, it'll destroy anything near its area..Why?
I saw its face, corroding with slime of decaying flesh. I knew it was a host to X, but it wouldn't hurt me.
I have done the impossible..To tame the Nightmare-X, it has earned my friendship so it will never be alone.

This poem is dedicated to the Nightmare X from Metroid Fusion.
When the poem states 'I', Its not Samus, its me. I wrote this in the process of imagining myself in Sector 5, before and during the X host's escape.
I'm quite fascinated of this boss and first imagined myself running from it; then saved by it. Even the most hostile of creatures like the Nightmare, it has a soft side and a noble soul to help others.
The main reason of typing this, is because I want to show that even this Sector 5 boss isn't all that bad at all. Enjoy the poem.
